Great site! I think you left out Doolin in Co. Clare. This is a MUST! From there you can visit the Cliffs of Moher (Another MUST) and also take a ferry trip to the Aran Islands (which you mentioned). The ferry trip from Doolin is actually the shortest journey to the Islands from the Mainland. Cliffs and Aran Cruises have ferry trips to view the Cliffs of Moher and also to visit the Aran Islands.

Yes, Doolin is a fantastic place. I spent a couple of nights in Doolin a few years ago and stayed in a lovely B&B, went to a great pub (cant remember the name of it now) and had a few delicious pints of Guinness while we listened to some traditional irish music. What a way to spend an evening! And Doolin is , as Michelle points out, the shrortest trip to the majestic Aran Islands.

Doolin is definitely one of those places that merits being in the top 10. It's a difficult list to put together because there are so many beautiful places that could be up there. Maybe we should put a "Top 20 things to do in Ireland before you die"!

If anyone has any other suggestions, we'd love to hear them.
