National art gallery:
This is the main art gallery in Dublin. This is situated in the main center of the city and it has huge collection of paintings and sculptures. There is no charge for visiting this gallery and you can visit it on any working day from Monday to Saturday. The collection of paintings includes traditional landscape painting, subject paintings and modern art. This gallery has paintings of both Irish artists and other European artists.
Irish museum of modern art:
This is the main modern art gallery situated in Kilmainham about one mile from Dublin. You can see the contemporary paintings and sculptures of Irish artists here.
Douglas Hyde gallery:
This is an art council supported gallery. It is one of the most important contemporary art galleries in Ireland. The gallery hosts lots of theme exhibitions by Irish artists. There is no entrance fee for visiting this gallery.
Apollo gallery:
Apollo gallery is situated near Dublin’s famous Grafton Street. This Dublin art gallery has a collection of art works of international artists.
Bridge art gallery:
This art gallery has collection of contemporary art and crafts.
Oisin gallery:
Oisin gallery has huge collection of traditional and modern art. You can visit the exhibitions conducted at the time of Christmas here. You can enjoy the marvelous paintings of Irish artists in this exhibition.
